Grannies, get your lean startup on! The organizers of the Montreal International Startup Festival is looking for grannies who have some technical knowledge, are internet users, and can show up in Montreal on July 14th.

Phillipe Telio said he would like to recruit a few grandmothers to the panel of judges in order to award one lucky startup the prize for the presentation best understood by a grandmother.

The organizers even went as far as dubbing the panel “Granny’s Den” after the popular Canadian entrepreneurship show, Dragon’s Den.
